Sales Tax:

By law, we are required to collect New York State sales tax, where applicable


The customer pays all freight and/or optional insurance charges.

For smaller orders we use US Postal Service. Sometimes we use UPS for larger orders.

Orders will be shipped to the address buyer provides at checkout. If it is rerouted in transit and returned because of incorrect address provided by buyer, buyer must purchase a new ship label.

Kozy Kabin makes every effort to get your order out as quickly as possible. Most in-stock orders ship within one to two business days of the order date, and often much sooner. Orders are processed in the order they are received.  

If you need your order to arrive by a particular date, please email before ordering to ensure we can meet your needs.

Kozy Kabin offers US Postal 1-3 day Priority Mail and First Class 2-5 day mail.  Sometimes UPS is used.

Once your order ships you will always receive a tracking number(s) from Kozy Kabin.

Once your package is dropped off to the carrier delays are out of our control.  If you happen to experience a delay track your package by going to or or call them directly with your tracking number.

If your package has been identified as delivered with the carrier and you have not received it then we recommend contacting your local authorities. It’s out of our hands.

Receiving Merchandise:

Upon receipt of an order, please inspect it immediately and report any discrepancies or breakage within 3 days of your package being identified as delivered. Failure to do so may limit our ability to help you resolve any issues arising from transport or claims.

Replacing Merchandise:

If we make an error or send you the wrong product please notify us at and we will correct the problem.  We work hard to properly package your purchase to avoid damage during shipping.  If items are damaged during shipment email us so that we can file a claim with the carrier. We do ship large quantities of glass with very few problems. (All small glass jars will be individually wrapped with 100% recycled♻, USA made, Green Way® Kraft tissue paper to ensure safer travels during shipment.)


Pick Up Orders:

We would love to see you in person. If you are planning a visit, please call first at 585-409-7424 or email, to ensure product availability and to secure your order.  We make no guarantees on availability of product if you do not call in an order before coming. If you pre place an order we will try to have it packed for you when you arrive.  Please help us by checking orders carefully before you leave to be certain everything is correct.  We don’t want you to get home and discover that there’s an error and have to come back.

Internet Orders:

Web orders can be placed on our website at Web orders are processed every business day (Monday -Friday), except on certain holidays.  Any orders placed after that time will be processed within three business days. Once processed, web orders will be handled with the same high level of care and attention as any other order.  We will contact you via e-mail or phone if there are any discrepancies on your web order (ie. wrong billing address, backorders, tag proofs, etc.)

Personalized Tag Proofs:


Currently the lovely square Kraft tag and the 1.5 inch white tag are the only tags we offer.

Custom tags come with up to four proofs, every proof after that is $3 each. We recommend you add a message to me with EXACTLY what you want on your custom tag along with your logo or picture. You will be emailed a proof of the custom tag and will need your approval before being sent to print.

“Kozy Kabin 922 Genesee St Corfu N.Y.” will be marked on reverse side of tags in very small print to satisfy state regulations. 

Tags and dippers will be shipped disassembled to ensure they arrive safe and not bent or broken.

Kozy Kabin only uses raw, unfiltered, pure and local Western New York honey. Ours is pure and untreated. Nothing is added to or taken from it. It is not heated above ambient temperature which makes it “raw” and unpasteurized. Unfiltered honey means it still has all the pollen and “good stuff” still in it. That said, this honey will have specks and may contain hive sediments in it. This keeps all the health benefiting vitamins and antibodies in the honey so that they are not killed off by over heating or filtering. Raw honey will crystallize which is natural and a good sign that it is pure. To return to liquid form just place your glass jar of honey in warm/hot water or even better in direct sun light. Don’t refrigerate your honey or microwave it. 

**When you receive your honey please leave it in a warm place, we recommend somewhere 75 degrees F or you can even put it in the freezer to prolong crystallizing. Quality raw honey will naturally crystallize starting at the bottom- this is normal.

*Note: this is not the honey you buy at grocery stores where it has been processed with fillers. Unpasteurized- Do not gives babies under one year honey.

MAPLE INFO: Our New York State pure Maple syrup is from our friend’s Maple farm here in Western New York. With the utmost care this hobby is hands down the most delicious! A sure gift of nature!

Back Orders:

We attempt to ship all orders on the first or second day after they are received depending on the season. If an item is on back-order, customers will be notified as soon as possible (through e-mail or phone). As soon as back-ordered items come into stock, they will receive first priority handling.

Returns & Exchanges:

Any unused item, except for those mentioned in the non-returnable merchandise section, with which you are not satisfied, may be returned within 30 days for a refund covering the purchase price of the item.

When you receive your order, please check the order immediately and report to us any mistakes in packing within three days.

Please include your order number.  Write your order number on the outside of the box and enclose in the box a copy of your invoice and reason for returning the item.  Return shipping is buyer’s responsibility.

If you pay by credit card, we will credit your account and the credit will be reflected on your account statement or Paypal account.

If your order is damaged in shipping, we will be happy to help you file a claim with the shipper if we can’t help.

Returned merchandise is subject to a restocking fee.

Non-returnable Merchandise:

Due to the nature of some products, their use and the safety issues, the following product classes are non-returnable: consumables (food items, animal feed etc.), books, medications & chemicals, personal care products, and custom printed labels/tags.

Order Cancellations:

All orders must be canceled within 12 hours of placing orders by email at or over the telephone by calling 585-409-7424.  BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND YOUR ORDER NUMBER .  HOWEVER, we work very quickly in the shop so if your order has shipped within that 12 hour window we won’t be able to stop the package once it reaches the carrier.


Because conditions of use are beyond our control, we make no warranty or representation, express or implied, except that all products conform to the description provided by the manufacturer on sales literature or product labels. Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid.

Publishing Errors:

We are not responsible for typographical or photographic errors that may appear in any material published by Kozy Kabin. We retain the right to make adjustments or corrections due to changing market conditions, product discontinuations or typographical or photographic errors in products.
